Upon awakening, Kakana, the herbalist of hybrid nature – part human, part animal – comes across five adventurers who have been poisoned and seek her aid. But in a world where non-hybrids aim for the annihilation of her kin, Kakana faces a difficult choice: proceed with rescuing the adventurers or risk exposing her own existence.
